Where I ised to live I could find anything!

I need a new propane line for my forge and... Ive discovered this province doesnt sell propane hoses or fittings.
According to the propane shops "they consider it too dangerous for the average person"
You can only buy conplete "low pressure" BBQ pigtails... Thats it.
Anyway, I have to order online and im not sure what to look for or where to get it.
Help please!
I have a high pressure propane regulator. What I need is a high pressure hose about 8' or so. One end to a standard propane tank and the other end has to be a male 3/8 adapter to attach to the 3/8 brass of my burners.
The regulator has 3/8 female in/out.
Im not sure if I can attach the regulator directly too the tank and run the line from it... Or just go, tank > hose > regulator > hose > burners...
I would also like some steel cladding for the hose.
Could somebody give me an idea what I should get and where I can find such a thing online.
I find A LOT of parts in my search, the problem is narrowing it down and getting it right so I dont order the wrong thing.
