Tribal Short sword -={WIP}=-

This is a 20" short sword that I started some time ago. This is the longest blade I have done yet, and is almost the max for my kiln. It is pretty much finished at this point but here are some progress pics.

Heat treated and antiqued, ready for a handle

Good looking blade. I like the overall shape and the lines. Looks plenty wicked.

Ben, that looks fantastic! I was busy droolin' over the pic's when all of a sudden you wrapped the handle....and wow! I was thnking...what is he doing...then it just looked right. Good thing you were doing it and not me. I would have not finished it right...but you did! Nice sheath too.

I'm working on one of my longest ones to date right now...about 14-16 inches. No wrappped handle tho. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks guys! It definitely would have looked good without the wrap, but I think it kind of finished off the whole package with it.
