Took another stab at a Bowie

This time it’s a little vest Bowie. Plenty of mistakes and learning moments, but it turned out well.
A2, with Turkish walnut and stainless fittings.

beautiful! I’m with Chris- that handle shape is gorgeous. But I really love that big contoured guard and spacer. Don’t get me wrong - there’s nothing wrong with a thin guard, but a big chunky guard that’s been contoured into the handle is next level to me, and the flow of the ricasso through the guard is perfect. The spacer sets it off even more.

The overall knife is just so tastefully done.

There is something about the slow straight clip point blade that just seems right for a general purpose knife and when it is teamed up with complementary details like those on this knife a real gem is bought to the table
