Titanium standoffs

Hey Gang! Anybody know where I can buy 1/8" titanium tubing with an ID just big enough for a clearance hole for 2-56 screws? I would like to build some small folding knives and cut pieces of tubing to shorten to precise lengths using my knife dogs ez lap tool. I may have to have some made at a machine shop since I don't have a lathe. Any input is appreciated!

That would be a VERY special item in titanium. I don't expect you will find them available. Those would end up with walls about .016 thick. Hmm, I don't expect you will find someone to make those for you. Frank

If you could go up to 3/16" stand offs you can buy some sweet stand offs from Montana Knifes supply. Steve Kelly makes some sweet titanium hardware.

Finding titanium in that format is difficult. The tough part will be finding a machine shop to work it....unless a shop works with Ti, most of them will simply refuse to work it. As Shane mentioned, check out what Steve Kelly has to offer.....
