This Guy is gonna GET what he deserves...

update

Todays progress
Decided it is getting Damascus Fittings and most likely an antler or Koa Wood handle...
At the 400 grit stage and the Hamon is beginning to show somewhat

Sweet!
I just finished a caping knife for a friend that had both
(antler, and sculpted curly koa)and he's really liking it!

Handle got changed to a Coffin design...
Ran out of the right Pin material More ordered, will post a pic later but it is still a WIP

Please excuse the poor pics need a better camera
Well slow but sure finally got em done...
Help me pick which one goes to Mike (Machinist)

I like the round handled one. I like it Alot! Dozier

ps. some girl was looking at me in the second pic, I focused and stayed with the knives.

You want US to choose?!?
Try asking us something hard, like "do you like to breath in,or out?";)
If it were meant for me,I'd choose the coffin style (I love that multi pin look).
Man,the smile that's gonna light up his face will be bright enough to
blind a man at a hundred paces...
Beautiful knives!

I like finding people like him and doing exactly what your doing. He will be a friend for life, Im finding out knife makers are pretty much a different kind of people the kind we all like . kellyw

Looks like he will be getting the Damascus and Walnut Burl one.
Has a really nice Hamon but it is hard to capture in the pic... So off to the sheathmaker tomorrow

Here's what makes this so extraordinary;
in your eyes, perhaps it's just a Good and Right thing to do.
but that fella is gonna spend many, many happy hours with that knife in his hands, and then his sons, and their sons after them,
so it is a Truly Remarkable Thing indeed...

Mike's Jaw hit the floor this morning...
Stopped by his place and showed him the knife and asked what he thought. Liked it and asked if I was going into production with the design. Told him No  if I did that then he wouldn't have a One of a Kind Custom!
Few hand shakes and a backslap later I had to scoot off.
He was still grinning as I left, made my day ;)
If you need any surface grinding done PM me and I will put you in touch with him. He knows his stuff.
