I finished this knife today. Its called "The two step Krait". The Krait is a black and grey snake found in Vietnam. Our troops over there called it the two step snake because if it bit you, you made it two steps before falling over dead. Ouchy.
(I wasnt in Vietnam but thanks to those who were.)

1080 steel
Homemade "micarta" scales.
416 hardware.
Thanks for looking.

You might want to call this a one step Krait, because if it were to bite you you might not make the second step.2guns
Very nice clean work. Isn't this fun.2thumbs Wade

What is the length?

That is great looking. I love the handles and the blade shape is no nonsense.

Nice looking work. I especially like that homemade micarta. That stuff looks great on this blade.

Thanks guys.
This fabric turned out to make some wild looking patterns and designs. The black is thicker then the silver and it is sorta raised up. The guy wants another just like this for his grandson.2thumbs

The length is 9.25 overall. Blade is 5 inches from tip to guard.

And yes Wade this is fun.Im starting to settle in on a system of doing things which makes the process easier and funner. I dont want to ever stop evolving and trying new stuff but I have a decent process in place now of the basics.
Thnaks again fellas.:running dog:
