KNIFE MAKER
I made this little knife jig to hold my 1/4 bowie knives for the final sharp. I use the strop like a file and it takes way less finesse than before. Took 20 minutes to make on a manual mill....could make it in an hour with a saw and drill press. A friend sent a link to a fancy sharpener site and I thought the most important part was isolating the blade...I think I may have been correct.

it's called "stroppy jalopy" 'cause it's so ugly.....lol.

Nice! I have a similar setup, but not NEARLY as nice. I’ve been getting them pretty darn sharp since I started using it. Question- How thin are your unsharpened edges? Just curious.
