I'm looking to pick up some 440C 3/16 x 2 x 36 + lengths
Also A2 and D2 in these same lengths.

Anyone know a small shop where I could walk in and get what I want?

Guys I don't know if this is a good location but check out Fry Steel Co. in Sante Fe Springs. They carry 440c in both HR and Pickled. Did not check on a2 OR d 2.

I just called Fry and they do carry 440C in all the normal thickness and widths. They sell it by the pound in 12' lengths. It's around $9 a pound and $12 extra if you want it cut shorter.
