I have a customer that wants stag scales put on an Old Timer sharp finger. The scales that he bought are very porus on the back side, and no matter how I cut them, there will be alot of this porus stuff showing on the edges, and front and rear. My question is, how can I fill this so it won't look so bad? My thoughts were to use epoxy with some sanding dust from the stag mixed in and spread it on the back, before I cut them. What do you fellow dogs think?
