Stabilizing antler

Anyone stabilize antler? I’ve done some wood with good success, but never antler. Any tips and tricks you’d share?

I have done a couple. Pretty much do it just like wood. If its bleached out badly you can even add some brown dye to help but it takes some practice to make it look more natural.

Only to make the pith solid.
I guess if you are cutting slabs for full tangs knives it would be a precaution. I think pith readily absorbs super glue. I remove almost all of the pith in hidden/through tang knives.
Also using seasoned antlers (dried for a period of time) would be a benefit

Antlers/stag have been the choice for decades. A proven and beautiful and rugged addition to any knife.
