I forget who wrote this. After the stuff that has gone on lately, a song I sing at work and in the shop to stay focussed on what is really important.

I am pressed but not crushed,
persecuted but not abandoned
knocked down but not destroyed
I am blessed beyond the curse

The joy comes in the morning.

One of several songs I sing to myself or sing out loud (nice thing about working by a big forging machine, no one can hear you) to make it through the day.

Thanks Scott for posting this,I understand where you are coming from.
I listen to a southern gospel music radio station in my shop all day long while I am working.
I love to hear the old gospel songs,since I can't sing,I can't even stand the sound of my own voice,I love to listen to these songs over and over again.
KEEP ON SINGING!

although I sing in church, I sing old hymns like: I'm going to die on the battlefield, victory in Jesus, Hold to God's unchanging hand, etc.

I do love singing and listening to hymns as well and that's a brilliant bit of hymn lyric.

I've been listening, well rather praying and thinking, on this one today.
