Some of my folding knives

I will put here some of the folding knives that I've done. Always friction folders higonokami style.
Sometimes with a case, sometimes not.

Higo like number 42 :

O1 steel for the blade, folded steel for the handle. Inox pins and teflon washers. 213mm overall, blade is 143mm with the lens, 92mm edge.
75 grams.


Higo like 38 :

Same materials as no42, 179mm overall, blade is 75mm. 77 grams.
With aluminium case.


Higo like 37 :

Same materials, 218mm overall, blade is 97mm. 89 grams.
Aluminium case.


Higo like 47 :

W2 steel blade, folded steel handle. 141mm overall, 61mm blade, 31 grams.


Higo like 49 :

O1 steel blade, folded steel handle. 200mm overall, 83mm blade. 90 grams.


Higo like 50 :

W2 steel blade, folded steel handle. 115mm overall, 48mm blade. 35 grams.

I think that last one is my favorite. How did you get that scratch pattern? and how did you do the cases?

All of them very nice. Very interesting texture on that last one.

The scratch pattern is done principally with carbide burrs. The cases are made of folded aluminium sheet with differents surface treatment like hamering, etching, burning, sanding... Case is covered with foam like cushioning on the inside.
