Rather than resurrect the old thread I'll just start a new one. I made an offer on the Smitty and it's mine. I got it for a really good price and it's in excellent condition. It came with lots of mill bits (if that's what they are called). I checked everything that you guys said to check and everything was solid. The gentleman that had it was meticulous with his tools and shop so it is well taken care of. It was purchased new by him in the mid 90's. It weighs 500 pounds so I've got to get some help to move it but I believe I can back my truck in the shop, drop the tail gate and slide it in the bed of the truck. Repositioning when I get it come is going to be another story. I was also lucky enough to get an industrial steel leg table with a thick wooden top with a Wilton vise mounted on it. So the Wilton Cadet vise that I got last year is going to go on the market. I'll have it posted up in the for sale section in a little while. I'm feeling pretty good about this purchase and all the goodies that came with it.
