Small scimitar

Finished this up a little while ago , thought I should put it up for sale . It was first flat ground from oversized 3/16" A-2 tool steel . Heat treated to an Rc61-62 and then I finished up with a convex grind and a scotch bright belt satin finish . This was a very interesting grind with the different heights with in the blade and having the center wanting to get a bit thinner . It worked out well as I was able to keep more meat up front ( to help balance the blade ) and to help in a down ward swing to cleave off a shoulder .

This is a serious weapon .

O.A.L is 15-1/2"

Blade is 9-3/4" with a sharpened edge at 9" . Warning , she bit , been blooded and now is thirsty . 1-3/4" wide

Fittings are also A-2 with red liners , cap nut is stainless steel .

Handle is buffalo horn .

Sheath is right hand carry

Asking $525.00 + $25.00 for shipping in the USA . It will be shipped signature required . Pay-pal or Postal M/O .
my pay pal is sandlot@charter.net

hope you all like it and comments welcomed .

If in doubt folks I should tell you that this is a very serious weapon and all work has been done by me . This is not an e-bay bought blade , I am sole author .
