You did good - I'd never seen Camphor burl before. It looks a lot like Thuya burl. Does Camphor require stabilizing? I like that tapered tang - good job.

Grinding it can definitely clear your sinuses. I'd say definitely want it stabilized. I've used it once before and seemed a little soft even after having it professionally stabilized

This is the first time I've used Camphor on a knife. Did quite a bit of turning with it when I was a kid.
It has been stabilized and it turned out harder than I expected.

That taper ended up scary thin. Measured it at 0,16mm

That is a fine job of grinding that tang. At .16mm (.0063) anyway you got that thickness it turned out great!!
