Slippie #3- making progress

Just got slipjoint #3 up to "picture worthy." Couple of scratches left to polish. This one is 3/32 CPM 154, brass liners, canvas micarta, bronze washers, and brass pins. First time I've done liners and washers both. Nice and flush at closed and half, slightly low at open. Good snap to 1/2 and out, but a little weaker than I'd like on the in snap. Gaps on the liners at the front of the knife are from the thin bronze washers I used on the pivot, since I don't have a mill to relieve the liners. No gaps on the washers or pins. Point lays dead center. Thanks Craig and Stan for the technical assistance, and Stan for the bronze rod these washers came from.

And finally, next to a sodbuster junior for a size reference.

Thanks, Craig. Those little jokers are driving me nuts. Take me 3x as long as they should, but I'm getting better.

Diamond cutoff wheels from harbor freight, chucked into my drill press. Not exactly precise, but works OK. Looking for something better that's not called "get a mill."
