Tony Bose will post one from time to time on his Instagram. There’s also a link to some patterns on his web page, though you have to work out the tang and springs yourself for those.

Don Robinson’s book “Slipjoints, My Way” has dimensioned drawings in the back that serve as a template for one design. Some minor tweaks would allow you to build variations of it. Highly recommend this book.

I ordered a two blade trapper style assemble it yourself kit from USA KNIFEMAKER.com and it has made an excellent template.

You can carefully take apart old, broken and discarded slip joints. Most make great patterns and you can literally see how to make them by taking them a part.
