slight recurve

i am so tired of this crappy Tandy leather. bout ready to order some C & w this month.

cant seem to keep a good stamp in it the way i would like and too many blems,is it just me or does some of yal experienced hands have the same problem with Tandy?
crappy pics i know but its rainin here for the last 24 hrs and i guess got cabin fever so just jackin with sheaths

It's basically a case of you get what you pay for. I now use 6/7 oz Herman Oak and my work improved. Tools and sews like a dream.

I know what you mean! I'd been buying from our local Tandy store and didn't know any difference. Recently I bought some Herman Oak from Springfield Leather and WOW! It was the cleanest, blem free stuff that I'd ever saw! And as a kicker, it was about a dollar per square foot cheaper than the crap at my local Tandy store! It's just beautiful stuff!
