i really liked how these pics came out and thought i would share. haven't been around in a while. work has been insane. i will be making knives full time soon so i should be showing up more around here. this is a Skinwalker that i made from O-1 with a flat chisel grind. i can't help it, i still dig cord wraps. all my personal EDC knives have wrapped handles.

Good looking blade. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a cord wrapped handle. Though I have used micarta and G-10 for all of my blades in the past year or two, my firsts and favorites all have cord.

Appears to be an ergonomic shape, very nice skinner! How do you achieve the finish?

i use solid ferric chloride and add a little white vinegar to make a putty. i then use a gloved finger to dab it on the steel. it makes a neat pattern. it is my favorite finish to do. kinda like finger painting in pre-school. i do use mustard quite a bit too.
