Well its time for pounding some steel and exchanging tips and stories. Will be a 2 day event that starts at 10:00 sat. morning or earlier. Will be serving Brisket and trimmings. We will be firing up the forge and using a power hammer, press and manual hammer. Topic of discussions will be grinding methods, construction, heat treat, handles and guards, Damascus making and etching etc. All are welcome. Great!! I've been waiting for this since I left last year. You can definitely count me in Dan. If there are any guys out there who haven't been to one of Dan's Hammer-Ins you should plan to come. Even if you're not a maker you will have a blast. The only thing you really need is a love for knives. Made some good friends there last year that I look forward to seeing again.
