Sheath for Redwood Burl Hiking knife

That is a georgous combination of knife and sheath although I have to ask if there is a reason for the bull nose on the sheath as it looks like there would be quite a bit of room in there for that shaped blade.

Hey Von, thanks for the feedback. For some reason I just like the way it looks. Really no other reason other than that. It adds a little more work but I'm beginning to enjoy the leather work.
Here is a sheath I just stitched today prior to dying. Probably one of the largest sheaths I've made to date and decided not to do the bullnose (I didn't know it was called that).

Opaul. if my eyes don't deceive me you did a hollow grind on that one!! Hollow grinds are not as easy as most would think!

What's not to like about that one! Real nice work!

Hey C Craft, it must be the reflection it is a flat grind. I haven't tried to do a hollow grind in quite a while. Thanks for the compliment - the new owner loves it. :)
