i am looking to hand stich a leather sheath for a sword and wish to make the sheath stuff any GOOD information ore how to,s welcome

This is a little drawing that I found on another forum a while back that gives you kind of an idea of what to do. If you are just referring to stitching, then there are several ways to do it. You can do a running stitch or saddle stitch on a raised seam, or you can do a cross stitch or tunnel/butt stitch on a flat seam.
