I found out something new about tools on clearance at Sears. If you don’t know, Sears clearance items have a pink sticker with the clearance price marked on each item. The stickers are “first” put on when the item goes on clearance and the new price entered in the computer. It stays that price for "2 weeks". After that the “computer” drops the price again to a lower price (lower than the pink sticker). They may or may not change the sticker price. So, always check with the cashier about the price on clearance items.
I bought (I did not need) one of those multi tool things. Guy said it was original $109.00 marked down to $39.99. I took it and ask the cashier, the new price was $19.99. I also got a new $16.00 file for $3.00.
By the way, this information is not for anyone in the Houston area…. I want first dibs... :biggrin::biggrin:
