The odd thing is if you have an LTC you can buy legally full auto knives! Problem is if you use them to defend yourself you could be in trouble! Lots of GREY AREAS! Mass is the land of Grey Areas with laws! It depends on who's trying to make a name for themselves and what's going on in the next election!

Just because you can buy one doesn't mean you can carry it. My favorite knife sits under my nightstand. The powers to be would have a bad attitude if they found me walking around with a Bali-Song in my pocket. I can have my 45 or 9 but not that knife. Put a false edge on it. Call it good.
 
All of you guys need to move to the south. If you want to carry a balisong, dirk or claymore its easy to be legal in Georgia.
 
I just checked my NC state laws. Dirks are legal as long as open carry.
But I have to say some of the wording is ambiguous and if you happened to be spotted by an officer having a bad day then your day could end up badly.
Some of this stuff borders on the archaic ridiculous.

This is so true! I have an LTC. In MA you have to carry concealed too! But dont have a Dirk, Dagger or Balisong concealed!! But no worries about that full auto knife!!
