It grows in Russia and Finland. I got mine from a fellow that knows a Russian knife maker.

Bruce, I'm pretty sure I've seen dealers in Russia offering Maisur on Etsy or Ebay, maybe both. Some ships straight from Russia to the buyer, with fairly long shipping times, but some say Ships from U.S., so pay attention to that.

Found a local source ! Check out COOK WOODS. Located in Klamath Falls. Oregon. only about 2 1/2 hours from me. can anyone say "Road trip?"
