Saw blade

I have some saw mill bandsaw blade. Do I need to normalize and anneal or simplely anneal and retarder?

I use a lot of this in 15n20 and until I started annealing I lost a lot of bits to hard spots in it. Haven't lost one since I started annealing and very slow cool in ht kiln (overnight).

Thanks for the advice. I’ve only used it once and annealed and cooled in vermiculite. Made a chefs knife,turned out pretty nice.

I think that’s a good way to go about it.
