I thought you were talking about the spelling mistake. ;) If it is only 3 layers and the billet is thick enough, then make a Japanese single bevel kitchen knife.:)
 
Stick a piece of fresh 1095 in between the two drawn/halved/ground 1095 face of the stack and reweld to avoid a center seam.

Think of it as an opportunity, not a mistake :)

I mean - you DID screw up. Being able to overcome your screw ups is a valuable skill. I was playing with my "first knife" I posted not too long ago earlier today. That ended up being a 3-1/4" knife paring knife. The plan was to make a 5" clip point skinning knife.
