Rope/Strap Knife

Thank you for the picture Mike. I haven't seen a handle like that, it does look very practical though. I'll have to play around with some redesigning on the cutaway knife and let you guys know how it turns out.

I like the egg handle and the reverse ramp. I think Laurance ought to think about a career in knife design/making.

Thanks for the kind words and I am just trying to help like others help me.

I have thought about it but I am having to much fun making, Designing & Sharpening knives!
I am done with "Careers" for this life time.:biggrin:

I agree with the egg handle approach (with a choil for index finger to help prevent forward slip). Simple AND ergonomic.
From the initial picture I thought this was a two finger handle, but it looks like you are able to get about three (and 1/2) fingers in contact with the handle. That being said, it still looks a little awkward to me as far as ergos are concerned.
