how does it work? is it brittle or fibrous...?

My first thought when handling it was "paper mache"??
I've not yet tried to shape it. After Christmas and I get back to work, I'm going to handle something with it. I'm also really curious as to hear about it first. It's very lightweight and the product page says be very careful with powertools because it will burn easily. I can see why.
Would love to hear from those who have used it.
