Thought I would re-introduce myself. I joined about a year ago but have been mostly lurking, so I thought it appropriate to say hello from here again first.
I live in Salt Lake City and have been interested in knives in general ever since I was a kid. When I started looking at the higher end knives that I can't afford I thought I would try making them. That's how I ended up here initially.
This last year I've been putting in a lot of hours at work, so by the time I had time to come on here I've been pretty wasted mentally. Didn't feel like I had anything to contribute.
Hoping to change that now and contribute more.
I finished my first knife from scratch about a month ago. Took almost eight months with my regular job and all. Working on it here and there when I could. I did a couple of kits prior to that. I'll post pics this weekend.
