Red Leaves African Black Wood

Hey guys, just finished this one up this morning. I've been working on it for a while. The scales are finished to 1000 grit and hand waxed. Copper and SS mosaic pins with black fiber lanyard tube. 7.25" OAL with 3.25" blade, African black wood scales.

Thanks Kevin, the lighting may be playing tricks - it's actually a flat grind.
I really like working with the blackwood, but I got to tell you - it is a tough wood. It will wear a sanding belt out pronto! It does hand sand well though after getting it roughed out.

Dang ... that sucker sure does look hollow. I do all flat grinds as I don’t have a decent grinder yet. I love flats as well, but I am a sucker for the hollows. Either way that’s a nice looking knife for sure.
