Way too cool!o_O I take from what you said that you first made the crushed W pattern and then overlaid it with a raindrop pattern.

Doug I made the crushed W's, forged it out into a bar 1 1/2 wide by about 18 inches long and then used my raindrop dies to put the divots in the billet and then ground to the finished size.
Instead of getting concentric circles you get little PAC-Mans.
