Questions about Decobond / Ionbond

I looked into Ionbond. The steel I want to coat is a european equivalent of 5160.
The question I got is will the temperatures of Ionbond / Decobond ruin the temper of 10xx series of carbon steels?

If not. How can I find a service that offers this? A 14 inch Bowie knife rough cost estimate?
If Ionbond will ruin the temper. How does Durabond hold up?

What are the temps?...or...if it exceeds where you temper at it's gonna affect it....The more foot work you do on posts the better answer you'll get...

Try contacting decobond/ionbond direct for more accurate costs, and durability questions. Since its not a do it a home or shop process i can only assume its costly and will add weeks to delivery times
