This one was made from the tang of a Simonds Mill 2nd Cut file. My father in law gave me a small anvil along with the file so I figured I'd strap on my ball peen hammer and pound some hot steel. This is the first attempt at making a symmetrical dagger, ground on both sides. I do all my grinding freehand and usually clamped in vice grips. I don't have any fancy platen or jig to hold the blade.
