Thanks guy's, one thing that I forgot to mention in the video and I added in the description section of the video is that I open the back of the guard slot up leaving only about a 1/8 section of undersized slot at the front,this gets filled with epoxy during final assembly.

That’s an important lesson for all new makers to pay attention to. I can’t be the only one who didn’t know this in the beginning. Trying to size a full thickness hole and fit that to a tang is borderline impossible.
