Prentiss vice find

I am seriously considering buying a prentiss vice. Best I can tell it’s a bulldog 96 or 97. It’s massive. The guy wants $600. Good deal?

Is this anything like you're looking at? http://tinyurl.com/4ya9sat4 that one is $70 shipped. Ebay has several in the $200 to $300 range also. BUT - they may not be anything like the one you have

I'm not an expert on old vises. How much do you reckon it weighs? Over 200 pounds and in GOOD shape, that sounds like a reasonable deal. Over 250 in GOOD shape, and it sounds like a fair deal.

Does it have a swivel jaw (talking about the fixed jaw that can be unpinned to contour to tapered parts)? That'd certainly add value and utility to it.
