Pradel folding knife

Hey guys. I found this knife in my dads attic after he passed away a few years ago. Any one know anything about it, or where I can research it?
Thinking about cleaning it up and making it a usable knife again. Just wanted to try and find some history first. Thanks.

You can research the knife at your computer. Just google "pradel knife" or "pradle knife". You will find some great information. I spent an hour or so looking around. Here is some the information that I found.

Here are some names that kept popping up in the various links, etc.

Dubost Pradel
Pradel Yatagan
Jean Dubost Pradel
Jean DubostLaguiole
PradelBrossard
It appears as though "Pradel" is a French name and knifemaker(s). Plural on the knifemaker. The name goes back a couple hundred years. Appears to be still producing knives with the name attached. I could not locate an exact knife as yours posted. Some of the links are close - but not exact. I could not narrow your seach but you can keep looking. Google is your friend. . . sometimes. My head hurts.
