CNC's are fun to play with. Between wires, mills and grinders there's not much left. I have a small problem with calling it handmade. For a production knife,,, go for it. You can be assembling while the work is being done on the other side of the shop. The repeatableaty will be great.
 
You can call it custom, or production, or semi-production, or limited production.....

But never handmade....

'course if you're using a sophisticated belt grinder instead of files...you shouldn't prolly call it handmade either....jmo.

you can call both hand finished...(If they are indeed hand finished)
 
What do you run for a cnc grinder. What kind of wheels do you use. To bad you are so far away. I do 5 axis milling. That is always interesting to me.
 
I'm running a Norton cup wheel in a Fadal vmc...I hide behind the door frame of the machine while running as the wheel is unguarded...I have a 4th axis attachment....a real 5th axis would be nice!
