Several announced yesterday the passing of Chris Marks Mastersmith . The man made awesome damascus for blades and bolsters. RIP.

I shared a booth at the blade show with chris and some of the other louisana blade smiths in the mid 80,s and it was such a wonderful time......as a canadian i loved their cajun accent......he made me a damascus bowie knife with an oosic handle on a trade and it is a treasured part of my collection......even more so when he stopped making knives.......rest in peace dear friend
