Oven location

Is it safe to have your oven is the same room as your grinder ? Or will the dust ruin the electronics .

I keep as much electronic stuff as possible as far away from the dust as possible.
Some motors we use are sealed and the electronics on your oven may be as well? I do know steel dust on the elements isn't a good idea.

To me it just makes good sense to keep them as far apart as possible..

If you really need to have them in same room, you might take a drop cloth to cover the oven while grinding..... of course, then you'd really be wanting to heat treat while doing some grinding.

Best in separate room.

Thank guys. I figured it wouldn't be a good idea too keep it in the same room .

Mine have been in the same room for four years. I blow them off with a leaf blower once in a while, that's about it.
