Orphan blades

I know the title is a little misleading but you may relate.
In another forum I was asked if I would grind and heat treat a blade that he profiled (similar to FB camper).
I said I would and I did but I just didn’t get any enjoyment out of doing it. So lessons learned - I won’t be taking anymore orphan blades.
