Just a reminder for everyone who fills shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The season has begun up here in Canada so I assume it has started in the USA as well. The Canadian national collection week is November 19-25, sorry I could not find the US one. I would encourage everyone who can to fill a shoe box, a simple gift can make a huge impact on a child.

Well this was a busy week. We had 1337 shoe boxes come in, down 200 from last year. The local pulp and paper mill shut down so money is tight for a lot of people. This ministry is about the number of boxes God needs not what we want, however I think we could handle more.
