Old Shrade

I've had this knife of my grandfathers for many years. I don't carry it anymore even though it holds an edge better than anything I've ever had. I've never been able to find any information on it, does anyone know anything about this one?

It's called a "Wire Jack," I think. They turn up on ebay some. Not sure how the George Schrade company relates to Schrade, Schrade Walden, Schrade Cutlery Co, etc.
