Off the bench today - Camper with Canvas Micarta Scales

You seem to find some very nice handle material there OP.
I've had it for a while but was hesitant to use it. I really didn't know how the herringbone would turn out, but I think adding the contour to the handle made the difference. I really like the way it turned out as well. I hand sanded to 1000 grit, hand polished and then waxed it.
 
That herringbone is a nice touch to the handle visuals. I have just done a number of handles with olive canvas micarta and while the contours cut through the layers there is little in the way of a pattern. I have some more olive canvas on order along with black canvas, black linnen and some natural canvas.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! This knife is a little larger blade than I normally make. Most of my blades are under 8".
