I had some micarta left over from my last knife. Thought it would be enough for a little camping/outdoorsy knife. Sketched it up and liked it. The grind came the best for me so far. (disregard the faux choil...don't ask) Anyhoo, I got a little frisky with the 50 grit on the 4x36 and wound up NOT having enough micarta left . I really wanted to see what the orange G10 looked like for the liner so I went ahead and pinned/epoxied it up. It feels good in the hand but the scales don't go far enough up the ricasso and it looks like it's all blade. Gonna give it to my Mom for Christmas...along with a small cutting board I made for her (not the one in the picture ... although I did make that one). Calling it a "cheese" knife with a lanyard hole
As I'm looking at the pictures ... I need to clean up some buffing rouge from the tang.
