NWG drive wheel 3D design/drawing

hey guys, anybody happen to have a CAD drawing (or anything that can be used with CNC mill) for a NWG drive wheel of 6"?
or can make one for me? :shifty:

2" x 6" with the "curvature", will get bore size soon

i think this would answer some questions: if i buy this online it will cost me A LOT to get here!

thanks

You may want to consider making the drive wheel at least 2 1/4" minimum to compensate for tracking. Also, if your tracking wheel is crowed, the drive wheel can be flat. Unless they're perfectly alligned, two crowned wheels could cause tracking problems. The wheel should be fairly easy to machine without CAD drawings.... mill out whatever you don't need in the middle so it leaves a sturdy hub for the shaft and enough to drill and tap for the set screw.

Thanks Rody

I will get the exact measurements anyway when i remove the old one from the grinder. And in case i go with regukar machining will take it to the guy and ask for exact one but with bigger diameter

Shokr. Make sure you figure the belt speed in advance of making that drive wheel. I believe 4500' per minute is popular if you don't have a variable speed drive. Frank

Thanks Frank

I have an inverter, so im good! :) it overloads around the 30 htz tho ror some reason...

Any idea how toccalculate the surface speed? I had a link but cant find it
