Nichols Damascus and Ironwood Build-Off Folder

This is my first liner lock and my entry for the GLWJ MKS linerlock build-off.

I decided to go with some Chad Nichols Carbon Steel Lizzard Skin pattern damascus for the blade, bolsters and backbar and Desert Ironwood for the scales.

She's a front flipper design with a stippled flipper and some stippling on the lockbar and works suprizingly well :D I wouldn't necessarily say this is a fast opening feature and more of a Gent's flipper than a tactical feature. I was shooting for a sleek and streamlined look and the flipper allowed me to eliminate the thumbstud.

Looks fantastic Josh. Nice extra touches with the stippling. Nice grind2thumbs

I am very impressed!!! Beautiful in every respect.

Chad's steel is my favorite to use and looks great on your knife.
