Inspired by this forum and others, I'm started making my first knife using files and sandpaper.

(Now I want a grinder. Filing and sanding is a lot of work!!!:biggrin

I also started with files & sandpaper over 15 years ago and never looked back!

I suggest you only cry once & put some money together and get a 2 x72" belt grinder.

Variable or step pulley adjustable speed.
