Well been a while since I've posted something. Been busy with Family stuff! Anyway finally got a blade in the works. Picked up a couple new items that I thought would help me out. First thing I bought was the one of Ed's sanding sticks. Thing works GREAT!! I managed to finish sand the blade to 800Grit with 2/3rds of a sheet of Rino-Wet 800. The stick uses a small amount of paper and once you have the paper cut up changing it on the stick is easy and quick. The second item are the Soft erasers that Klingspor make. No fish hooks after there use highly recommended and big thanks to Ed!!

Post up a picture of that stick. How does it save on sandpaper? I'm all for cutting down on paper costs.

I'll get a pic. I think its 2 fold the stick is narrow, so you only use about 3/4" at a time, it also has a handle on one end so it's very comfortable to hand sand with. I cut the 8-1/2" x 11" sheets in 3 strips then you wrap it around the triangular end. As you use the paper you unwrap 1 side get back on it. IMO it works very well.

3 strips! Save some money and cut them a 1/4" wider then the blade. I too have been enjoying the sanding blocks.
