New pattern Test knife

Randy Jr threw a bar of damascus on my bench a couple weeks ago and asked me to grind a blade from it. Said somthing about if he is right. it will have a spiderweb look when I grind into it!

The bar itself looked like a 2 bar twist and was not super amazing looking to begin with.

After profiling and grinding and heat treat. I finally etched it and Man o Man was I impressed at what I saw!

So here it is. all finished out. I let JJr select the handle materials and he went with a Oak Burl and blackwood bolster. Not a bad combination!!
